Birthday Bass Biscuits

One of my best friends has been playing bass since I can remember. He's amazing. So when I was in New York recently and saw this cutter, I knew exactly what I wanted to make him for his birthday. I decorated them based on my basic knowledge of what a bass looks like, simple and cute if you ask me! I displayed them in this round glass jar and finished with some ribbon. Happy Birthday Sam!

Found. Biscuits

It's been a while since I have made anything for Lauren's work. I wanted to have another go at royal icing so figured these biscuits were a good choice, especially for tea time in an office. As you can see here I've attempted their logo. I used Tate & Lyle's Royal Icing Sugar which made the whole process a lot easier. The purple sprinkles were lovingly added by Becki as I find making royal icing a two person job as it dries quickly. My design for transport of the biscuits was pretty basic...I hope they all made it there in one piece!

40 Point Birthday

Even though her name doesn't score very many points, it's Ginetta's birthday tomorrow. Considering how we have a continuous 'Words with Friends' scrabble game going on, these were the obvious choice! They are mini cupcakes with vanilla frosting, topped with mini hand made biscuit scrabble tiles.

Edible Gift Tag

Christmas present wrapping gets stepped up a notch every year in my house. This year I was inspired by this cute wrapping paper I bought for my mum. I made this edible gift tag to go with the cookies on the paper.

Christmas Biscuits Half Dipped in Chocolate

In my family we have a lot of Christmas traditions, but making these biscuits has to be one of my favourites. They are normally our Christmas breakfast while opening presents. Although I'm told we can never have too many, this time I thought the dough would never run out... I made 49 trees and 29 snowflakes.

Coconut Cookies

Coconut being his favourite thing, I made these to take for my Grandpa while visiting this weekend. They were really easy to make and a good balance between macaroon and cookie.
